About Author

Pearl Kim is a graduate student in San Jose State University’s Master of Library and Information Science program. Previously, she worked as a writer creating and editing content that made technology management clear for public servants. She received a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in Asian American Studies at Northwestern University. In her free time, she reads, thrifts, looks at the ocean and eats good food that other people cook. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two cats.
