San Jose Public Library Time Capsule Collection
Abstract
The San Jose Public Library Time Capsule Collection (1891- 2003, bulk 1891-1902) documents the time capsule that was placed in the cornerstone of the San Jose City Library, built in 1902. The collection consists of coins, copied pages, correspondence, letters, local newspaper clippings, local organizations’ publications, local printed ephemera, as well as photographs. The San Jose Public Library Time Capsule can easily be arranged into one series: Series I: San Jose Public Library Time Capsule [1891- 2003 (bulk 1891-1902)].
