Personal Commentary

Since retirement in 1975, we have gone 100,000 miles with our Airstream travel trailer in Alaska, Canada, United States, and Mexico.

The trip to Canada included an overnight train trip to Churchill on Hudson Bay to observe the Polar Bears.

Before and after retirement, we traveled to observe four total solar eclipses. These and other educational trips sponsored by Phi Delta Kappa have taken us to all continents except Antarctica. Destinations included USSR, Siberia, Outer Mongolia, Dakar Africa, China, Iceland, Greenland, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Australia, New Zealand.
