Abstract
Front matter for volume 20 of SWITCH. This introduction explains how the CADRE Laboratory for New Media at San José State University is partnering with the ZeroOne Festival and hosting the ISEA2006 Symposium. To prepare, SWITCH dedicated this issue to the theme of “Transvergence,” inviting artists, scientists, and thinkers to explore ideas that blend and move beyond traditional disciplines.
