Abstract
This interview with linguist Dr. Roula Svorou explores how language connects with fields like cognitive science, technology, philosophy, and digital media to help us understand how humans think and perceive the world. She explains how studying language reveals why computers struggle to truly “understand” and how digital media art could become an important tool for visualizing complex linguistic ideas.
