Abstract
In this article, Brigham Rees explores the slow adoption of high-speed broadband in the United States. by drawing a comparison to agricultural technology and how dairy farmers evaluate new technology. Using principles laid out by agricultural researcher Raymond Nebel, such as efficacy, training, initial investment, and cultural readiness, the author unpacks the factors that have slowed the rollout of faster internet in U.S.
