Abstract
This article explores the idea of gift culture in art, focusing on how artists can move beyond commercial markets to create public, participatory experiences. It discusses Ghosttown, a project by Red76, and its Open Kitchen event - a mobile, community-run kitchen where food and memories are shared freely.
