Abstract

This article explores the work of artist Dan Peterman, who uses recycled materials to create art that promotes sustainability and mutual care between people and the environment. Peterman’s work invites reflection and reuse and blends creativity, community engagement, and environmental consciousness. This article also describes his transformation of an old recycling site into the Experimental Station, a community-focused space for collaboration and renewal.
