Abstract
This is an exclusive interview with Ed Osborn who is currently a sound artist in Oakland and was the director of SoundCulture’96. This interview tackles Ed's contribution to the event which took place all over the Bay Area. Many of Ed’s practices includes installations, acoustics, ecology sounds, sound vibration, and audio signals. The interview provides a behind the scenes look at how SoundCulture’96’s came together, its impact on the region, and reflections on Obsborn’s artistic practice. Many of his sound practices help garner the audience’s attention by holding sound festival events all over the world, which has helped Ed gain recognition as well as building up his sound projects portfolio.
