Abstract
A review of the SIGGRAPH (Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques) Conference held in 1996 at the New Orleans Convention Center. Features of this conference includes, the latest technologies in Virtual Reality and Motion Capture, a discussion of The Bridge (a networked exhibition connecting the gallery at the convention center to the Contemporary Arts Center Gallery in downtown New Orleans), a review of the Electronic Theater animation festival, and a description of Wango (SJSU CADRE students’ contribution to the conference's user contributed display area).
