Abstract
Jan Ekenberg shares how the idea of categorizing, analyzing, and ultimately searching for web art has been very difficult compared to the same process within traditional artworks. These problems are derived from the fact that web-based artworks are from a new medium to which we are not completely able to describe yet. To add to this issue, we see how online works are ever expanding and evolving which makes it near impossible to definitively organize them.
