Personal Commentary
My wife and I, both octogenarians, have just returned from a 16 day tour of Russia and fell in love with the country. We lived on a boat that traveled from St. Petersburg to Moscow in the inland waterways for a distance of 1000 miles. Both St. Petersburg and Moscow are beautiful cities, and we also enjoyed stopping at small villages on the banks of the lakes and rivers. We even got to visit a polling place on the day of the National election. Moscow is a huge city, but we felt comfortable riding the subway and wandering around Red Square and the Kremlin.
