Personal Commentary
During my thirty‑one years of association at San Jose State, I was privileged to work with professional colleagues and, in some manner, to teach and influence the lives of many young students choosing to become teachers in the schools of California. During that tenure as a teacher and contributor to the College of Education, I also served as Associate Dean of the College for several years. As a grant developer, I received a number of funded projects awards. These grants were designed to enhance the programs of minority students, especially those of the Vietnamese community. During these associations, I expanded my knowledge and service to minority communities. My experiences at San Jose State have been professionally rewarding and personally fulfilling.
