Personal Commentary
It was a privilege to study at the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago from primary years through high school, and to win the Beethoven Gold Medal in Piano Performance just before our family moved from Chicago to Los Gatos, California.
I have served as accompanist for programs featuring soloists in several fields, i.e., voice, violin and cello. Was organist for Handel's Messiah given in the Morris Dailey Auditorium on campus. I have served as organist in seven churches in the San Jose area and have given organ recitals in five churches.
It has been a rewarding experience to combine teaching and musical performance on piano and organ during my career at San Jose State University.
