I was the director of the college cafeteria at Louisiana Polytechnic Institute, Rustin, LA. Then to Northwestern State University, Louisiana, Natchitoches, LA, as Director and Dietitian of Residence Halls and Student Union Food Service until 1944.
During WWII, I served a V‑S Navy Unit as well as the students living in the residence halls.
Personal Commentary
I was active in our American Dietetic Association‑‑state and local. I helped to organize the San Jose Peninsula Section.
I enjoyed my 31‑1/2 years at SJSU, and shared in the many activities and committees we had. I especially enjoyed the contact with our students‑‑I still hear from some of them.
