Personal Commentary
I am very proud of my thirty five years at San Jose State. I appreciated the many ways the University supported my endeavors, including taking my choirs to perform at various local, State, Regional and National Conferences. The SJSU Choraliers under my direction traveled extensively with 16 International tours, winning and placing in many International Choral competitions. A large number of my graduates hold doctorates and have had extraordinary careers in Universities, Schools and churches as well as private businesses and careers. Over 80 students received Masters Degrees in Conducting under my mentorship. The SJSU choirs performed many major works with the San Jose Symphony, Midsummer Mozart, and other professional Bay Area groups.
