Personal Commentary
Music has been an important part of my life. I was Advisor for Mu Phi Epsilon Music Fraternity for three years and chairman of their annual scholarship competition at San José State. I assisted in the formation of Opera San José and was involved in its activities for 25 years. I was alto soloist in many churches for 30 years. After moving to Marin I continued work with opera as president of the Marin Chapter, San Francisco Opera Guild and several musical groups.
