Abstract
This Planning Study reviews the city planning procedure that Cisco Systems would need to follow in order to build its proposed campus in the City of San Jose’s North Coyote Valley Campus Industrial Area. It is a controversial subject with both pros and cons, which I will examine throughout this study. Research was conducted using primarily written articles about different viewpoints on this topic, attending community meetings and listening to community members, as well as interviewing City of San Jose Planning Department staff.
