Abstract
The planning report presented is titled " Open Space Preservation Methods." It is an attempt to explain land management tools available to protect and preserve open space land and how to apply them to regional development in the San Francisco Bay Area. This planning report argues for being more proactive in preserving open space. This report draws upon documents gathered from local governments, special districts, and non-profit land trusts in the San Francisco Bay Region and offers a variety of answers to a community’s question about how to achieve its goals of open space preservation.
