Abstract
The Problem Management and Reporting System is a general purpose problem management, tracking and reporting tool which can be used by product users, support personnel and customer service representatives of organizations which produce, market or service various products. It consists of a repository to store problem details and a user friendly interface to the repository. Users can customize the system by defining products, product users and support personnel. The system provides functions to add, change, delete and search problem data in the repository. It also produces a variety of management information reports. The system is implemented using Oracle RDBMS and Developer/2000 tools. The problem management system has a general design and can be implemented on a variety of platforms with minimum changes.
