    In the late 1980s the Hungarian interpreter Kató Lomb researched historical and contemporary polyglots in an effort to understand their linguistic achievements. Her resulting work, "Bábeli harmónia (Interjúk Európa híres soknyelvű embereivel)," was published in Budapest in 1988.
