Abstract
Cyber-Physical systems have greatly assisted industry in maintaining industrial systems being a key element in the progress to Industry 4.0. The strategies and technologies developed along with industrial application of Cyber-Physical systems can be utilized in managing human health as well as health trends and research. Many Digital Health devices are appearing on the market, often utilizing Cyber-Physical technologies and many for consumers to provide health data. However, applying to the medical world adds many challenges including data accuracy and informatics, significant security and privacy issues as well how to best utilize the information with medical professionals and research. This paper examines the situation, how the market is changing, types of health devices, and provides a framework for health management informatics to serve the needs of the patient, medical professional, and researcher. With this framework we look at how many ways it can be utilized to manage health and humanity.
