Abstract
Cryptography is the most popular scheme to protect data on the Internet. As the demand for networked devices has increased in the Internet of Things (IoT) environment, the risk of severe security breaches has become the main concern in our life. Maintaining secure communications is particularly challenging on small embedded systems in the Internet of Things(IoT) including drones. These devices have constraints on communication costs, computing resources, and power to perform secure services. Therefore, the development of secure communication management systems needs to be crucial to support secure communication in IoT devices. This paper provides secure key management for secure communication using Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC). We implement ECC on drone devices and a key management system in Cloud. We evaluate the proposed system in communication and computation cost.
