Abstract

The rapid advancement of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and the widespread integration of large language models (LLMs) have transformed how individuals engage with technology in the context of daily professional activities. Motivated by the impact of LLMs in our lives, this chapter presents the outcomes of a series of multi-disciplinary workshops involving experts from AI, natural language processing (NLP), and human–computer interaction. By adopting a human-centered and co-creative lens, this chapter reframes the discourse on LLMs, offering critical insights into which aspects of life have already been reshaped by LLMs, what transformations lie ahead, and which critical challenges need to be addressed to achieve meaningful human–AI collaboration.
