Abstract
Since its release on November 30, 2022, ChatGPT has driven the rapid adoption of applications built on large language models (LLMs), significantly enhancing productivity and creativity; however, it has simultaneously raised critical concerns about cybersecurity, privacy, and trust. This chapter examines the vulnerabilities introduced by these technologies, including risks of cyberattacks, data breaches, and misinformation, while also addressing ethical challenges and trust-related issues surrounding LLM-generated content. It emphasizes the importance of user awareness and robust safeguards, exploring strategies to balance the opportunities offered by LLMs with the risks they present.
