Abstract
The United States is in the midst of a mental health crisis. Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors are the frontline pharmaceutical treatment for depression and anxiety and are among the most commonly prescribed drugs. As their use increases, so too must nurses' knowledge of these drugs.
