Aims & Scope

The International Journal of Forensic Social Sciences promotes the international development and use of interdisciplinary forensic social sciences-related policy, theory, research, technology, ethics, training, and professional practice in areas such as: 1. Civil law, including labour and employment, personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice; 2. Offender treatment, supervision, and resettlement; 3. Victim treatment; 4. Restorative justice, social justice, and interventions focused on communities; 5. Government policy development and implementation; 6. Community organizing and social action; 7. Law enforcement investigations; 8. Administration of justice systems; 9. Expert witness testimony and consulting in litigation; 10. Interdisciplinary and international work and collaboration of forensic social scientists; and 11. Role and impact of forensic social sciences experts in the media.
