The San José State University Library is pleased to announce the 2011 Research and Methods Forum will take place at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library on June 9, 2011.

This forum aims to provide SJSU Library faculty and staff as well as SJSU Library & Information Science faculty, doctoral and masters students an opportunity to explore research issues and methods in their field.

Participants can choose to present formally (Track 1) or display a poster session (Track 2). Formal presentations involve completed projects or ones in progress with a focus on research design, relevant data collection methods, and statistical analysis (if applicable). Poster sessions involve a visual representation of research studies in the field of Library & Information Science. This track is particularly useful for presenting a brief summary of completed research in illustrative form or for exploring a research topic through visual concepts, with an emphasis on proposed hypotheses and methods.
