San José State University researchers partnered with Mosaic America to record the stories of artists and advocates from the Bay Area's diverse cultures. Anthropologists and geographers conducted oral histories with these individuals. Interviewees talked about their creative works, collaborations with organizations, and their experiences as cultural creators in the Bay Area. The full interviews and their transcriptions are accessible through this repository. The archive also hosts photographic images of the region related to the interviews.
