Description
On February 22, 2021, SAASC hosted A4BLiP: Archives for Black Lives in Philadelphia archivists, Beaudry Allen and Faith Charlton, for a discussion about A4BLiP. The group responds to the issues raised by the Black Lives Matter movement by helping community-based archival collections and seeks opportunities to advise organizations serving Black communities as well as devising standards for anti-oppressive archival description and procedures for auditing repositories’ description for racist language.
