Dr. Sandra Hirsh (ASIS&T President-Elect 2014/President 2015, SJSU ASIS&T's faculty adviser, and Director of SJSU SLIS) spoke briefly about ASIS&T and her priorities as president before taking questions about MLIS internships outside of disciplinary "comfort zones", alumni activity in ASIS&T, getting the most out of conferences, and how ASIS&T membership can help students achieve their professional goals.
