The Teacher Education Program at San Jose State University is California's oldest public teacher preparatory program. We are committed to preparing the highest quality educators (PreK-12), with knowledge, skills, dispositions, and ethics to teach students in our culturally diverse and technologically complex global communities. The Teacher Education Department has two programs, Elementary Education and Secondary Education.
