Personal Commentary
In my 27 years at San Jose State, of happy memory, there was never a day that I hated to go to work in the School of Library and Information Science. My fellow teachers were a strong group, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with them and the University library and librarians throughout the Bay Area. My graduate students, mature and motivated, were a pleasure to teach, needing only to be pointed in what I considered to be the "right" direction.
I am proud to have received an MA from the world's best History Department, at San Jose State, of course.
If all this sounds like high praise, it is!
