Abstract

The Augmented Version Control and Bug Tracking System is designed to meet the version control and bug tracking requirements of software engineering projects. The system consists of a data repository to store the file revisions and bug information for every version of the products that exists in the company. File revision updates and bug information can be entered into the database only by the engineers who have access to the system. User friendly interfaces are implemented for addressing queries to the database and outputting the result of these queries. A variety of administrative reports are also produced by the system. The system is implemented using Access 95 in a Windows operating environment.
