Abstract
This thesis is an epistolary novel satirizing America's obsession with obsession. This novel chronicles the creation, publication, and rocky canonization of a novel called Juanita, an homage to Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita, through a series of journal entries, weblogs, book excerpts, newspaper articles, and case files written by those both directly and indirectly invested in the novel's success, or in some cases, failure.
