Abstract

Interview with artist Ryosuke Ueda, conducted as part of the Mosaic Atlas project. Topics include the foundational role of the tea ceremony in Japanese cultural practices and the future of tea ceremony amid globalization. As part of the Mosaic Atlas project, SJSU students and faculty from the Anthropology and Geography departments interviewed people who support and produce art throughout the Bay Area.
