Abstract

Interview with Irfan Rydhan, Chief Operating Officer and Founder of HalalFest, conducted as part of the Mosaic Atlas project. Irfan identifies as Pakistani, and Muslim American. Topics discussed include the Muslim identity, community organization and outreach, organizational collaboration, artistic development, supporting organizations, transitions, the Bay Area art scene, and artistic collaboration. As part of the Mosaic Atlas project, SJSU students and faculty from the Anthropology and Geography Departments interviewed people who support and produce art throughout the Bay Area.
