Abstract
This interview is with Caroline Serrano, a Mexican transwoman and performer in San Jose. Serrano works with Teatro Alebrijes, where she utilizes acticting as self-expression and a tool to improve their well-being. Serrano explains the structural barries regarding labor and space, such as spatial precarity; the neccesitty of rehearsing in garages due to a lack of affordable, dedicates spaces for Latinx trans artists. Serrano presence on stage serve as a form of resistance.
