About This Journal
Our goal is the production, collection, and distribution of
accessible high quality research on Asian American Literature for students,
teachers, and the general public. We seek contributions that, while informed by
the theoretical concerns of specialists in the field, are comprehendible by
non-specialists, including students and non-specialist teachers at the high
school and college levels.
By emphasizing pedagogical approaches to Asian American
literature, we provide a conduit for theoretical analyses to be used in the
classroom to elevate discussions around Asian American literature and culture. We
also hope the general reader seeking more information on this complex--and
sometimes misrepresented--field will find the resources presented here
enlightening.
We try to respond to submissions within 8 weeks.
